- 8–10+ years seasoned mainframe engineering
- z/OS UNIX System Services (USS) expertise
- Linux on IBM Z knowledge (zLinux, KVM, IFLs)
- Modernization tools: z/OSMF, Zowe, IBM Wazi
- Automation: Git, Ansible, CLI/API usage
- Scripting: shell, Python; SSL/security basics
