📋 Description
- Lead bioinformatics engineer for pipelines and infra in cfDNA research
- Own WDL workflows, transition to Nextflow, and AWS tooling
- Improve cost and runtime efficiency for scientists
- Work as an IC within a research informatics team
🎯 Requirements
- Degree in Bioinformatics, CS, or related field; equivalent depth OK
- 4+ years software or pipeline engineering, life sciences preferred
- End-to-end ownership of production systems
- Strong Python and engineering fundamentals, testing, debugging
- Experience with at least one workflow system (Snakemake, CWL, WDL, Nextflow)
- Cloud experience, AWS preferred; infrastructure as code (Terraform)
