Job Description
📋 Description
- Source and procure avionics, electrical, and mission systems hardware.
- Develop sourcing strategies and establish supplier partnerships to optimize cost, quality, lead
- Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, lead times, terms, NRE, and other requirements.
- Issue and manage PO processes for prototype to production builds.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams to meet requirements and
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, and non-conformance issues.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or
- 4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing.
- Experience purchasing avionics, electronics, or mission systems hardware.
- Strong negotiation, pricing, lead time, and commercial terms expertise.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications for hardware sourcing.
