Scientist I - Ecology

📋 Description

• You’ll support field data collection, environmental monitoring, and ecological assessments for
• Work under experienced scientists and project managers in the field with data processing and
• Overnight travel required about 50% of the time.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, geology, natural resources, or
• 0–2 years of field experience (internships, academic work, or volunteer work OK)
• Basic knowledge of scientific methods and data collection using GPS and/or GIS tools
• Familiarity with native species, soil profiles, or hydrology
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and terrain
• Strong written communication for data documentation and reporting
