Director, Accounts Payable

📋 Description

• Lead AP strategy and scale for a rapidly growing omnichannel retailer.
• Directly manage a high-performing AP team (2–4 direct reports).
• Oversee end-to-end AP operations including PO and non-PO invoices, payments, and month-end close.
• Drive system transformations and use automation to boost efficiency and scalability.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Procurement, Treasury, Accounting, IT, and leaders.
• Maintain vendor relationships and data integrity in vendor master governance.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in Accounts Payable with 4+ years in leadership; omni-channel retail, manufacturing, or
• Proven track record of AP system transformations and automation implementations.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to build relationships.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: experience with JD Edwards and RetailPro systems.
