Senior Staff Engineer, Test Director (R5445)

📋 Description

• Act as end-to-end Test Director for integration, verification, and flight test of Hivemind Mission
• Own test readiness decisions across lab, simulation, ground, and flight phases
• Plan, direct, and execute fly–fix–fly campaigns with disciplined config control and safety
• Define and enforce test strategy, verification/validation, and objective prioritization
• Direct cross-functional test execution with engineering, safety, and program management
• Determine test infrastructure requirements (SIL, HIL, simulation, flight assets, automation)

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in STEM (Aerospace Eng, Software Eng, Computer Eng, or related)
• 7+ years in system integration and test including SIL, HIL, simulation, and flight test
• Experience leading test execution with authority over conduct, readiness, and decisions
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with systems Eng, software, hardware, safety, PM
• Highly organized, able to manage complex, fast-paced campaigns
• Strong written/verbal communication for leadership and customers
