Fire Assayer

📋 Description

• Weigh, flux, fire, knock up, and cupellate samples in the correct numerical order.
• Perform all fire assay activities with QC procedures and prevent contamination.
• Manage recycling and disposal of pots, slag, cupels, and waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised fire assay area.
• Carry out basic non-trade maintenance of fire assay equipment.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic records accurately.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a laboratory.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Desirable: First Aid Certificate.
