📋 Description
- Lead technical direction for autonomy capabilities across multiple space programs.
- Develop and integrate space autonomy for satellites and missile defense applications.
- Balance theory with practical implementation; drive evolution of architectures and integration
- Mentor engineers and decompose ambiguous customer needs into tangible designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration on real-world platforms.
- Travel 10-15% of the year to office locations, customer sites, and flight events.
🎯 Requirements
- C++ and Python; RTOS familiarity; strong robotics background in motion planning and autonomous
- Experience with unmanned system technologies and space-domain algorithms (AFSIM, NGTS preferred).
- BS/MS in CS/EE/ME/Aerospace or equivalent; 7-10+ years depending on degree.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to obtain SECRET clearance.
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools and real-world integration.
