Staff Engineer, GenAI Tooling & DevEx (R5469)

📋 Description

• GenAI tooling to accelerate software-engineering velocity on HMS DevOps; secure, controlled data in
• Automation, infrastructure, and integration layers across GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Improve build/test/dev-env workflows and GenAI adoption of reproducible Nix environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent with GenAI-assisted development; hands-on experience building LLM-powered tools for software
• Experience scripting (Bash, Python) and automating/integrating tools via webhooks/APIs (Jira
• Containerization (Docker, multi-stage builds) and package managers (Conan, Poetry, or Nix).
• Cloud experience (Azure Gov Cloud or AWS); secure software dev practices and secret management.
• Ability to obtain/maintain active U.S. SECRET clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
