Overview
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Lead Faculty Associate (LFA) in MBA & Marketing supports the curricular excellence and delivery of courses ensuring alignment with University, accreditation, program, and state standards in support of CSU Global’s mission and programs. The LFA performs the following tasks including but not limited to teaching courses, aiding in the administration of the program, reviewing courses for consistency and quality, resolving curricular issues related to course content and student experience, and ensuring relevance of course materials to industry standards. The Lead Faculty Associate is expected to devote their time and effort to the University in proportion to their appointment. This is a majority-time (.75 FTE) position in which the Lead Faculty Associate's first obligation is the preparation and carrying out official CSU Global duties. ***Please note that this is a majority time position at 30 hours per week.***

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•
- Teaches assigned courses in the MBA/Marketing/Management programs with active course participation, timely responsiveness to students, substantive discussion engagement, and feedback that supports student learning and success. Teaching will generally represent at least 75 percent of the Lead Faculty Associate’s responsibility. In general, a Lead Faculty Associate will teach at least twice each trimester in high enrollment courses. The exact teaching schedule will be based on program needs and determined in consultation with the Program Manager.
- Adheres to all CSU Global faculty expectations regarding engagement in the course through the discussion board and in comments and feedback to students on assessments.
- Hosts or supports live class sessions, webinars, or student-facing academic sessions as required by the course, program, or Program Manager.
- Supports the planning and coordinating of curricular changes and aiding the curriculum design process and ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met.
- Supports maintaining key program documents and records such as program course list, curriculum map, and assessment documentations.
- Supports in completing assessment review of the program/courses including such items as post course survey data and comments at the end of each term.
- Supports in responding to curriculum tickets in a timely manner and ensuring issues are resolved and students and faculty have a positive course experience.
- Ensures curriculum quality through a process of redevelopment finishing to provide final approvals of courses, ensuring an excellent student experience with every CSU Global course.
- Completes a bi-annual program assessment to review program data, quality measures, and constituent feedback.
- Identifies advisory group members and facilitates regular meetings to ensure that the curricular offerings are current, timely, and best prepared for students.
- Maintains relevant and up-to-date program marketing descriptions.
- Attends all Curriculum Committee meetings to represent the program, as well as attends other committee assignments.
- Responds promptly to all requests and issues (e.g., curriculum questions, course issues, curriculum ticket, grade appeals, student and faculty issues/questions) according to CSU Global service-level agreements.
- Coordinates program accreditation activities as needed and ensures the program is compliant with all requirements and reports.
- Supports faculty scheduling by acting as a substitute for program faculty, as needed.
- In collaboration with Faculty Operations, is responsible for the success of the part-time faculty towards the university mission and goals through selection and interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, evaluation, performance management, corrective action, coaching, and mentoring.
- Participates in selection and performance management of course content experts (CEs) and supports curriculum development processes and deadlines for development and quality review.
- Collaborate with Faculty Operations to prepare Faculty Credentialing reports for the Annual Program Review; conduct annual yearly reviews and participate in drafting changes to the Faculty Handbook.
- Engages in regular communication with faculty through meetings, emails, and newsletter.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Documented knowledge and skills related to teaching modern learners, teaching methodology, curriculum development, and curriculum evaluation.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- Doctorate in Business Administration or Business Management with 18 graduate hours in Marketing
OR Doctorate in Marketing with graduate hours in Business Administration or Business Management.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of industry and practical experience in a professional discipline.
- Must have three (3) years of experience teaching or developing curriculum in an online environment. Specific professional licensure may be required depending upon the program discipline area.
- Must have either completed FCC100 at CSU Global or register to take FCC100 within the first 3 months of employment with CSU Global.
- Must have experience working with accreditation agencies to recertify or seek initial accreditation, either institutional or programmatic (i.e., report writing, visit preparation, interviewing with accreditors).
- Must have either completed FCC100 at CSU Global or register to take FCC100 within the first 3 months of employment with CSU Global.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
● Occasional travel to Denver Metro area required for University events and accreditation requirements.

Salary: $56,250 annually
