Chief Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead architecture, design, and quality for Shield AI autonomy solutions on UAS.
• Integrate Hivemind Autonomy across aircraft from Group 2 to Group 5.
• Lead a team of engineers on defense contracts and IRAD initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
• 10+ years in autonomy/UAS platforms (defense tech, self-driving, etc.).
• 7+ years delivering software into production in high-reliability environments.
• Understanding of GNC, robotics stack, software deployment processes.
• Experience defining technical scope, architectures, ICDs, and system design docs.
• Strong problem solving and customer-facing engineering leadership (6-20 engineers).
