📋 Description

• Lead materials development and failure analysis for XBAT vehicle within hardware reliability team.
• Perform hands-on lab work with SEM/EDS, X-ray, CT, optical microscopy, and cross-section prep.
• Establish SOPs and lab practices for materials characterization and reporting.
• Analyze metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites to guide materials selection and design updates.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in a materials engineering role (aerospace/automotive preferred).
• Bachelor's in Materials Science/Engineering or Chemical Engineering (Mechanical/Reliability
• Electronics familiarity (PCBs/PCBAs) and common failure mechanisms (solder fatigue, intermetallics
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and project management experience.
• 2+ years operating lab instruments (SEMs, microscopes, X-ray systems) and knowledge of
