Staff Loads Engineer (R4954)

📋 Description

• Lead generation and analysis of structural and aerodynamic load cases for next-gen air vehicle.
• Shape how loads flow through the aircraft structure to support sizing, airworthiness, aeroelastic
• Collaborate with structural, aero, GNC, and test teams to ensure load paths are accurate and
• Develop and validate loads models using NASTRAN, FEMAP, MATLAB, and Python/Simulink scripts.
• Contribute to sizing via detailed load maps and V-n diagrams and assess aeroelastic stability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in loads and aeroelastic analysis for aircraft (manned or unmanned)
• Proficiency with FEMAP, NASTRAN, MATLAB, Python/Simulink or equivalent tools
• Strong understanding of flight envelopes, load paths, and control surface effects
• Experience supporting design and test phases with accurate load predictions
• Excellent documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
