Senior Engineer, Air Vehicle Fluid Systems (R5203)

📋 Description

• Support development and flight test of liquid cooling and thermal systems for X-BAT.
• Design components and fluid systems; engage with suppliers.
• Perform system/component analysis and sizing; own fluid systems aspects.
• Travel to Shield AI’s Newton, KS site for flight test ops as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in environmental control, liquid cooling, thermal systems, design, analysis, and supplier
• Proven ability to design, build, test with rigor and speed.
• Strong CAD skills (NX preferred).
• Proficiency in fluid system analysis (1st principles, Simscape, Amesim).
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
