Propulsion Test Engineer (R4380)

📋 Description

• Lead propulsion test planning and execution for X-BAT autonomous VTOL jet aircraft.
• Direct engine/hover test campaigns; provide technical program leadership.
• Collaborate with propulsion, flight test, autonomy, instrumentation, safety teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in propulsion testing for jet engines, VTOL, UAVs, or flight tests.
• Expertise in engine tests, hover/transition events, propulsion-airframe testing.
• Strong knowledge of engine controls, FADEC, thrust measurement, thermal analysis, vibration.
• Experience with high-energy test procedures, hazard analyses, readiness docs.
• Excellent communication; able to travel for field tests.
