Staff Hardware Reliability Engineer (R5142)

📋 Description

• Responsible for robustness and long-term performance of VBAT flight hardware
• Lead environmental and stress testing (temperature cycling, vibration, HALT, HASS)
• Perform failure analysis, materials characterization, and root-cause investigations
• Participate in design reviews and FMEA; shape materials and manufacturing requirements
• Use reliability modeling tools to predict performance and lifespan
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to improve reliability

🎯 Requirements

• Technical background in materials science, electronics manufacturing, hardware reliability
• Experience with environmental testing and test practices
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Plotly, Matplotlib)
• Familiarity with PCB fabrication/assembly and electronic components
• Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC, AIAA, AEC, MIL, SMC standards
• Ability to obtain S//SAR clearance desired
