Senior Engineer, Autonomy (R5182)

📋 Description

• Lead and build autonomous capabilities for uncrewed aircraft within the Hivemind Solutions team.
• Blend software development with robotics, perception, and path planning.
• Design and implement autonomous behaviours for aircraft and integrate with third-party systems.
• Work with real sensor data and sensor fusion in high-fidelity sims and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Collaborate across AI, robotics, and systems engineering; contribute to architecture and code
• Mentor junior engineers and help shape best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• A tertiary degree in CS, Mechatronics, Software Eng, Aerospace, Robotics or related field
• Significant experience in robotics, autonomy, perception or aerospace
• Strong experience in modern C++
• Proven track record delivering reliable software in fast-paced environments
