Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - DB2 Engineer

📋 Description Role focuses on development, support, and customization of DB2-related services. Collaborate with vendor personnel to solve DB2 database problems promptly. Fulfill client requests and change orders for DB2 on z/OS. Provide primary support for DB2 tablespaces and related client apps. Offer 24/7/365 support across multiple time zones; participate in on-call rotation. Support client migrations and transitions for DB2 environments. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 10 years’ DB2 admin and app support experience. Hands-on with Mainframe DB2 admin, multiple subsystems, and DB2 objects. Analyze new DB2 versions for improvements; test data refresh in environments. DB2 security review, DR coordination, and problem resolution. Experience with vendor consultations and capacity planning.
