Technician, R&D II Vivarium

📋 Description Handle and restrain research animals (mice primary; may include rats, dogs, non-human primates). Perform PO, IV, ID, IP and SC injections. Execute survival and non-survival procedures: blood collection, identification, weights, etc. Perform euthanasia and tissue harvest/necropsy. Support animal care/husbandry and environmental monitoring. Maintain inventories and perform in vitro bench top techniques (formulations, pipetting). 🎯 Requirements ALAT with HS diploma + 5 yrs in lab animal field, or ALAT with AS/BS + 3 yrs, or LAT with HS Able to lift 50 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive procedures and adapt to changing work environment. Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues with peers/supervisor. 🎁 Benefits Not specified in posting.
