📋 Description Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux firmware for NETGEAR smart switch products. Own hardware abstraction layer and kernel modules for platform services. Implement and optimize L2/L3 protocols (STP, IGMP snooping, LLDP, LACP, 802.1X, VLANs). Contribute to multi-unit stacking, cross-unit configuration, and firmware upgrade coordination. ARM64 or MIPS cross-compilation toolchains; Buildroot/OpenWrt/Yocto familiarity.
