📋 Description Lead development and industrialisation of repair schemes for gas turbine engine components Provide expert guidance on repair methodologies, including welding (TIG, laser), brazing, thermal Review and approve repair documentation such as work instructions, engineering drawings, and Collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality teams to align repair solutions with engine Mentor junior engineers and trainees in repair processes, standards and best practices. Ensure all repair solutions meet airworthiness standards and are supported by robust justification 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related 10+ years’ experience in aerospace gas turbine engine repair, with a focus on civil engines. Competent Author (CA) status for repair approvals. Strong knowledge of repair methods: welding (TIG, laser), brazing, thermal spray, machining, and Familiarity with technical standards: S1000D, STE, EASA Part-145, FAA regulations.
