Director, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) – SLED & FedCIV

📋 Description Lead FDE for Public Sector (SLED & FedCIV) with Databricks solutions. Partner with customers to democratize data and AI in government contexts. Manage a team of Delivery & Engagement Managers and Technical Program Managers. Collaborate with GTM and account teams on discovery, scoping, and contracting for FDE services. Own P&L for the segment and drive strategy to meet business goals. 🎯 Requirements Clearance: ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret clearance. Leadership: 5+ years leader experience with 20+ people managed over 10+ years. Domain: enterprise software pre-sales or professional services in a high-growth setting. Deal execution: track record of large transactions and delivering customer value. Ecosystem building: strong cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing.
