Senior Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Own the outcome: Drive Promise’s roadmap and delivery end-to-end, partnering across Product, Sales
• Set the technical direction: Stay hands on—review PRs, argue architecture, and drive an AI native
• Quality focus: Run short, hypothesis-driven cycles and maintain high quality to protect shopper
• Build the team: Hire engineers, set clear OKRs aligned to product goals, and manage performance

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of core engineering, with time as a staff engineer and 3+ years as an engineering manager
• Deep in backend and/or data science, with experience leading teams across full stack and machine
• Genuinely AI native; has improved productivity and SDLC with agent harnesses, loop engineering, and
• Hands on experience with a major cloud platform, GCP preferred; worked on consumer-facing products
• Has directly managed engineers at staff level and above with a track record of growing talent and
• Gets things done, moves fast, cuts wasted effort, and flags problems early.
