Sr. Process Safety Consultant

📋 Description

• Lead and perform Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) using HAZOP, What-If, LOPA and FMEA
• Guide clients through PHA lifecycle management, including study prep, coordination, execution and
• Provide consulting on flammable liquids, reactive chemistry and other high-hazard materials
• Analyze process safety information to support thorough hazard analysis
• Prepare and peer-review PHA reports for clients and regulatory authorities

🎯 Requirements

• High competency in one or more PHA software tools
• Strong familiarity with key regulations: OSHA PSM, 40 CFR Part 68, CCPS guidelines
• Experience with SIL, safety instrumented systems and controls is a plus
• Background in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Industrial Gases or Pharmaceutical
• Experience performing consequence/frequency analysis for releases
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Process Engineering or related field
