Senior Application Engineer - Customer Experience

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end Apollo demonstrations at the California office and events worldwide
• Design, build, and operate robot behaviors and workcell environments for VIP visitors
• Serve as the senior technical presence, translating objectives into demonstrable scenarios
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing/CS to align on objectives and storytelling
• Manage live demos with rigor, safety, and customer-centric design
• Travel 20-40% domestically and internationally for events

🎯 Requirements

• Robotics software: C++, Python, ROS; Linux development
• Simulation tools: NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals: kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, control
• Experience delivering demos to executive/VIP audiences and managing live triage
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's in CS/ME/EE or related; Master’s preferred; 4+ years in customer-facing eng role
