Engineering Team Lead - Email Security (Imunify Email & Email Gateway)

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team focused on email security products.
• Oversee delivery, architecture, testing, and production reliability to ensure quality releases.
• Drive technical direction, review designs, and guide scalable solutions.
• Maintain SLOs, monitoring, capacity planning, and security-focused operations.
• Engage in hands-on activities: design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and incident leadership.
• Foster remote collaboration, documentation, and AI-assisted development workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a software engineer; 2+ years leading engineering teams or managing engineers.
• Experience delivering and operating distributed backend services in production.
• Strong Linux background; ability to review production code and troubleshoot live systems.
• Hands-on Go and/or Python development; understanding backend architecture and reliability.
• Architectural decision-making in complex domains; ability to learn new areas quickly.
• Observability and data tools (Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Redash) experience.
