📋 Description

• 14-week research internship in edge AI for video-capable VLMs
• On-device optimisation for high-traffic mobile hardware
• Own model selection, optimisation, deployment, and measurement
• Create working prototype and device benchmark map
• Collaborate with on-device AI teams and researchers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Python and PyTorch experience
• Experience with vision-language models
• Know quantisation, pruning, distillation techniques
• On-device deployment with CoreML, LiteRT/TFLite, ONNX Runtime, ExecuTorch
• End-to-end research project execution and measurement
• PhD enrollment in ML/CS with first-author papers
