Sample Control Technician I - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Southeast - Fort Myers, FL

📋 Description

• Logs and tracks receipt/shipment of all samples into/out of the lab per Chain of Custody (COC).
• Prepare bottle kits for delivery to clients and ensure accurate documentation of sample log in
• Determine priority and testing procedures per COC; store samples per procedures.
• May perform pick-up/delivery and other courier duties to support lab/client needs.
• Dispose of spent samples and waste per procedures; monitor freezers/coolers daily.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety; prep for efficient daily operations.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate company vehicles and pass MV background check.
• TWIC card and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Office/computer skills; familiarity with lab procedures and basic math.
• Ability to drive long periods and be on-call for non-business hours when needed.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; attention to detail.
