📋 Description
- Lead and grow a team of embedded systems engineers for the RTOS build, runtime, and configuration
- Define scheduling, memory protection, fault handling, and multicore partitioning for real-time and
- Design new C++ runtime APIs to safely manage memory and meet deadlines while preserving isolation
- Oversee compute platform allocation, core-task mapping, and cross-core synchronization
- Ensure RTOS isolation across cores with MPU configuration and hardware firewall integration
- Collaborate with hardware safety and platform teams to align safety strategies
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s in CS/EE/Robotics or related field; 10+ years of experience (advanced degrees may adjust)
- Proven embedded/RTOS leadership; deep knowledge of real-time scheduling, MPU/MMU, and low-level
- Experience designing APIs/abstractions for embedded runtimes; multicore RTOS familiarity
- Experience with cross-core synchronization and core allocation strategies
- Familiarity with safety-critical software practices (ISO 26262/DO-178C or similar)
- Strong cross-functional communication with hardware, safety, and application teams
