Machine Learning Scientist I - Protect

📋 Description Join the Protect team in Amsterdam to build real-time fraud prevention systems Work on ML models embedded in Adyen’s core payment flow, scoring 100M+ transactions daily Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and product teams to deploy scalable models Develop pipelines feeding feature stores and analytics workflows Analyze large payment datasets to uncover fraud trends and patterns Participate in model evaluation, experimentation, and monitoring 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Data Science, Math, Statistics or related field Solid ML fundamentals and experience with supervised/deep learning and tree-based models Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn Experience with distributed computing (PySpark) is desirable Knowledge of ML/MLOps tools (MLFlow, Airflow, Git) and clean code practices Curiosity, collaborative mindset, and ability to iterate quickly 🎁 Benefits Office-based role in Amsterdam with in-person collaboration Opportunity to work on high-scale real-time fraud prevention Supportive culture and career growth opportunities
