📋 Description Lead mechanical design of nuclear fuel handling systems from concept to final design. Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, piping stress, heat transfer. Develop and review FEA and CFD models for conceptual and detailed designs. Provide technical leadership on thermal, fluid, mechanical, and process design requirements. Apply engineering codes and standards (ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA) and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain engineering specifications, system requirements, and technical documentation. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5+ years designing complex mechanical systems, preferably nuclear. Proven experience in designing nuclear fuel handling systems or similar high-performance equipment. Strong multidisciplinary integration and plant system design experience. Experience developing/reviewing FEA and CFD models. Familiarity with nuclear codes/standards and quality programs (ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001). 🎁 Benefits Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $69 to $115 per hour, depending on experience.
