📋 Description Interpret physician notes; obtain required info when missing or conflicting. Determine specimen adequacy for histology samples. Receive, access, or reject specimens per SOPs. Data entry of case information into lab systems with accurate identifiers. Gross, process, embed, cut, stain, perform special stains and IHC; recuts and coverslips as needed. Review control slides for proper staining; validate reagents and antibodies before use. 🎯 Requirements HT or HTL certification from ASCP or equivalent. BS/BA/AS in laboratory science, or HS diploma/GED with relevant experience. Meet CLIA ’88 qualifications for moderate/high complexity testing; experience in histology and IHC State licensure where required; expertise in immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and assay Knowledge of molecular pathology and spatial biology; ability to manage complex tasks and provide 🎁 Benefits
