Financial Control Manager

📋 Description Support Head of Financial Control to maintain strong control across Retail Finance Lead reviews of financial controls and governance activity Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive change Prepare and review balance sheet analyses quarterly and annually Produce management information on reporting and risk indicators Advise on accounting processes, reconciliations and control requirements 🎯 Requirements A qualified accountant or equivalent experience Experience in financial control, financial reporting or financial controller work Strong knowledge of financial control frameworks, governance and risk management Understanding of insurance accounting, actuarial processes and regulatory reporting incl IFRS Experience managing reporting cycles, balance sheet activity, accounting judgements and audits Ability to analyse issues, challenge constructively with stakeholders 🎁 Benefits The opportunity to participate in annual bonus plan and share schemes Generous pension contribution Life assurance Healthcare plan (permanent employees only) At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays; option to buy/sell holiday Competitive family leave
