📋 Description Own the mechanical design of cryogenic hardware from 300 K to millikelvin Lead full design lifecycle: concept, CAD, drawings, BOMs, testing Define interfaces and budgets; drive DFM with external vendors Perform mechanical, thermal, and vibration analyses; use results to iterate Lead prototype builds and cryogenic bring-up Mentor junior engineers and chair design reviews 🎯 Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred) 7+ years in complex mechanical/electromechanical design Expert-level SolidWorks with GD&T and DFM Proficient in SolidWorks, COMSOL or ANSYS for thermal/structural analysis Experience with cryogenic, vacuum or extreme thermal environments Strong fundamentals in stress, tolerances, materials, FMEA 🎁 Benefits Base salary in range USD 165k–190k Full benefits, 401(k), parental leave, vacation policy
