Senior Product Designer

📋 Description You will be FORT’s first full-time designer, building the design platform from 0→1 across hardware Define how people interact with hardware, software, and autonomous systems that run on both. Collaborate with Product, Firmware, Software, Hardware, and Operations to translate constraints 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in product or interaction design, with at least 2 years in hardware-software environments Built a design system or component library from scratch. Experience in physical interaction design for hardware state, safety, and user communication. Field research experience in real-world environments (contextual inquiry, operator shadowing Proficient in Figma or equivalent and capable of prototyping complex, multi-step workflows AI-first mindset: uses AI tools to accelerate design, prototyping, and research synthesis as 🎁 Benefits Experience working on a safety-critical, regulated product environment is a plus. Background in human-robot interaction or autonomous systems is valued. Exposure to front-end basics (HTML/CSS) to improve design-engineering handoff.
