📋 Description Design, develop, and test embedded software for BMS (Battery Management Systems) of the Zoox vehicle Implement core logic for cell balancing, charging control, thermal management, and contactor Integrate supplier sub-systems into the Zoox software stack Create software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and other supporting documentation Work cross-functionally with vehicle engineers, controls engineers, software engineers, validation Contribute to all phases of the software development cycle including prototyping, requirements 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering 8+ years of experience developing real-time embedded software for Power Electronics and Battery Strong embedded C/C++ programming experience Experience with embedded micro-controllers and/or microprocessors (ARM, PowerPC) Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and system debugging Understanding of sensors and actuators and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN) 🎁 Benefits Salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid time off, disability insurance, and life
