As we continue scaling aggressively, we're rebuilding our in-house creative department around a POD structure and are looking for our first Senior Creative Strategist to lead one of those pods..
The Role
This isn't a "brief writer" role.
We're looking for a Senior Creative Strategist who owns the entire creative performance loop—from customer research and concept development to briefing, creative review, performance analysis, and iteration.
You'll lead your own creative POD, working alongside editors, designers, and a UGC Manager to consistently produce winning Meta ads that scale.
This role combines strategy, leadership, copywriting, creative direction, and performance marketing.

What You'll Own
Own Your Creative POD
You'll be responsible for one dedicated creative pod consisting of:
- Video Editors
- Graphic Designer
- UGC Manager
As the pod lead, you'll:
- Set creative direction
- Review creative output
- Coach team members
- Maintain quality standards
- Keep production moving efficiently
- Own the pod's performance
Creative Strategy
Develop creative strategies across every stage of the funnel:
- TOF (Top of Funnel)
- MOF (Middle of Funnel)
- BOF (Bottom of Funnel)
You'll determine:
- Angles
- Messaging
- Offers
- Storytelling
- Creative formats
- Awareness stage
- Customer psychology
Research & Consumer Insights
Become the expert on our customer.
You'll continuously research:
- 45+ homeowner audience
- Customer language
- Product use cases
- Market trends
- Competitor advertising
- Meta Ad Library
- Winning DTC brands
You'll transform those insights into creative concepts that outperform competitors.
Creative Briefing
Own the briefing process from idea to execution.
Write detailed briefs for:
- Video Ads
- Static Ads
- UGC Content
- Scripts
- Hooks
- Storyboards
Your briefs should allow editors and creators to execute without guesswork.
Creative Direction
You're not simply assigning work.
You'll:
- Review first cuts
- Give detailed feedback
- Improve scripts
- Refine hooks
- Tighten pacing
- Ensure every asset aligns with performance goals
If needed, you'll jump in yourself to make revisions.
Requirements
Must Have
- Senior experience creating direct-response creative for DTC/eCommerce brands.
- Proven success producing Meta ads that have scaled at meaningful spend.
- Strong understanding of paid social creative strategy.
- Excellent copywriting and concept development skills.
- Experience writing high-quality creative briefs.
- Deep understanding of TOF, MOF, and BOF messaging.
- Ability to analyze Meta performance metrics and translate insights into creative improvements.
- Experience leading or mentoring creative teams.
- Strong understanding of customer psychology and direct-response marketing.
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with products targeting homeowners or 45+ audiences.
- Basic video editing or design skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools for research, ideation, and creative workflows.
- Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools.
- Previous agency or POD-based creative team experience.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you'll:
- Successfully own and lead a creative POD.
- Produce a consistent volume of high-quality creative test batches.
- Improve creative hit rates through structured experimentation.
- Build a repeatable creative feedback loop based on performance data.
- Coach editors and designers to improve execution quality.
- Become the primary strategic owner of your pod while reducing founder involvement in day-to-day creative operations.
Success will be measured by:
