📋 Description Design, build, and maintain fire protection and life safety systems for SpaceX facilities Develop compliance documents and fire life safety designs for launch/production sites Lead code reviews, material risk assessment, and field solutions with cross-functional teams Support commissioning during pre-test and AHJ testing phases Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders Travel to SpaceX offices as needed 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline 1+ years in design/construction of fire protection systems Degree in fire protection engineering (preferred) Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (preferred Working knowledge of Building & Fire Codes and NFPA standards NICET certification (preferred) 🎁 Benefits Competitive compensation with health, vision, dental coverage 401(k) plan and potential stock incentives Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave Discretionary bonuses and employee discounts
