📋 Description Join Canva’s AI team on a live, industry-scale project during a 16-week internship. Work with real data, production infra, and strict deadlines. Collaborate with researchers and engineers to shape Canva’s AI-powered experiences. Focus on agentic AI: building autonomous systems that reason, plan, and act for millions of users. Publish findings to the broader research community when applicable. 🎯 Requirements Currently completing a PhD (ideally year 3+). Experience with human-AI interaction, conversational agents, or user-modeling research. Ability to design, run, and interpret ML experiments with scientific rigor. Develop research code for data processing, model training, and evaluation. Strong written and verbal communication of technical work.
