Head of Public Markets Tax

📋 Description Leading the delivery of tax partnering, advisory, compliance, reporting and risk management across Acting as the primary tax contact for Public Markets stakeholders Managing and developing a team of tax specialists Building relationships with Finance, Legal, Product and Operations, plus external advisers and tax Overseeing tax governance, controls, policies and risk management frameworks Monitoring changes in tax legislation and communicating impacts 🎯 Requirements Professionally qualified in Tax (CIOT) and/or Accountancy, or equivalent experience Significant experience leading tax strategy, advisory and compliance in asset management/financial Strong knowledge of UK tax regimes: corporation tax, income tax, VAT, stamp taxes; international Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions on complex issues Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences Strong leadership for developing and motivating specialist teams 🎁 Benefits Annual performance bonus and share schemes Generous pension contribution Life assurance Healthcare plan (permanent employees) At least 25 days holiday plus holidays; option to buy/sell holiday Competitive family leave
