📋 Description Design and operate large-scale distributed databases used by Dropbox services Build core infrastructure for fast, durable data access at scale Collaborate with Infrastructure and Product teams to plan mid- to long-term roadmaps Contribute to system design reviews and reliability improvements Write high-quality Go and Rust code for performance-critical systems On-call rotation may be necessary occasionally 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in professional software engineering with distributed systems fundamentals Experience building database platforms or large-scale storage infrastructure Proficiency in Go, Rust, C++ or similar systems languages Familiarity with consensus/coordination (Raft, Paxos, ZooKeeper, etcd) Experience operating production services and on-call rotations Strong debugging and performance analysis skills 🎁 Benefits On-call work may be necessary occasionally to address issues
