📋 Description Join a world-class blockchain team building on Avalanche network. Own AvalancheGo as its maintainer, ensuring health of node code and backwards compatibility. Set engineering standards and drive release quality for network-critical code. Design and advance core systems: consensus, P2P networking, state sync, VM interface, and EVM Establish observability, SLOs, and incident/postmortem culture for reliability. Mentor engineers, influence protocol direction, and engage with the open source ecosystem. 🎯 Requirements 8+ years software engineering; 3+ years at staff/lead level preferred. Expert-level Go with concurrency, profiling, and API design in large codebases. Open source maintainer or sustained contributor with public activity. Distributed systems experience: consensus, P2P, state sync, high-availability. Strong testing discipline and CI experience (GitHub Actions preferred).
