📋 Description Support transfer of structural assemblies to suppliers; focus on cost-effectiveness and DFM analysis Collaborate with Design and Advanced Manufacturing for pack-level structural designs Lead DFM and APQP reviews with suppliers for welding feasibility and tolerances Own QML/PPAP roadmap; qualify WPS/PQR/WPQ documents Establish weld verification programs and NDT methods (macro-etch, tensile, ultrasonic, etc.) Identify and mitigate schedule risks in heavy manufacturing for large components 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in supplier quality, industrialization, or manufacturing engineering (heavy-gauge Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, or Manufacturing Engineering Experience with welding, laser/plasma cutting, GD&T, and large welded assemblies Knowledge of welding standards (AWS D1.1, ASME IX) and NDT/destructive testing Ability to lead supplier relationships and on-site process audits (8D, 5-Why) Strong GD&T application to large structural weldments 🎁 Benefits Competitive salaries; stock options Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage Generous paid parental leave and vacation policies Relocation assistance available Equity-friendly culture and equal opportunity employer
