📋 Description Own system path-finding and architecture across compute Anthropic deploys — from concept to Write and own high-level requirements and specs — system, board, interface, rack. Review partner designs, make build/buy/co-design calls, surface risks early. Drive interconnect and networking architecture tying systems together. Drive board-, chassis-, and system-level architectures with partners. Develop performance simulations and what-if scenarios for hardware choices. 🎯 Requirements Deep hands-on expertise in at least one core hardware-systems domain (interconnect, power, thermal). Experience owning hardware system architecture at scale and writing specs/requirements. Experience bringing hardware from architecture to bring-up and production deployment. Experience with external hardware vendors and ensuring designs meet specs. Ability to reason about cross-domain trade-offs (interconnect ↔ power ↔ thermal ↔ mechanical).
