📋 Description Lead a platform engineering team: technical direction, design reviews, code review, day-to-day Set technical direction for your team's area of the stack and build platform layers as product Represent platform engineering in roadmap planning; translate product requirements into work Collaborate with bring-up and security teams to surface pain points and remediate findings Coordinate with other platform leads on architecture and cross-timezone delivery Own reliability, observability, security, and interface/versioning standards 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in cloud platform or infrastructure engineering 2+ years leading an engineering team Backend/systems programming: Python, Go, Rust; other compiled OO langs ok Kubernetes depth: cluster ops, CNI, scheduling, workloads GPU infrastructure experience; provisioning and capacity reporting Strong networking fundamentals: L2/L3, VLANs, multi-tenant isolation 🎁 Benefits Competitive salary; equity in Volta Retirement/pension contributions Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits Generous vacation days
