Senior Data Platform Engineer

📋 Description Senior Data Platform Engineer acting as SRE for data infra across multiple datastores. Build self-service, IaC-driven tooling to provision, scale, and operate datastores. Own relational databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora) with replication, failover, backups, and performance Extend automation to NoSQL/columnar/key-value systems and ensure repeatable, self-service workflows. Improve observability, incident response, and uptime via SRE practices (SLOs, toil reduction Collaborate with data and product teams to integrate with real-time and batch pipelines (Kafka 🎯 Requirements 5 years of experience in the field. Deep relational DB expertise (PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora), including replication, failover, backups Strong automation mindset; build self-service tooling to replace manual ops. Hands-on experience with at least one non-relational datastore (NoSQL/columnar/key-value). Cloud data platforms (AWS RDS/Redshift/EMR, BigQuery, Databricks).
