📋 Description Assist with early prototype builds: fabrication, assembly, procurement and inspection of materials Assemble prototypes per engineering design/instructions Work alongside engineers to fabricate and modify components using lathe, mill, and laser welder Debugging and performance testing of engineering prototypes Collect, record, and report test results Prepare prototype instruments for benchtop testing and pre-clinical lab evaluations; organize and 🎯 Requirements Minimum 8 years' experience supporting a mechanical engineering group in a product development Associate of Science degree, or equivalent work experience Hands-on prototyping/manufacturing skills incl. machine equipment, laser welding, soldering Manual dexterity to assemble small components with microscope or magnification Knowledge of catheter materials and manufacturing processes (laminating, braiding, bonding Ability to inspect components using metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, vision systems, CMM) 🎁 Benefits
