📋 Description Own the technical roadmap and strategic vision for Pinterest’s next-generation recommendation Champion state-of-the-art ML techniques to deliver innovations in recommendation tech. Transition ML research into production-ready systems impacting core metrics. Lead a team of ML researchers and engineers focused on recommendation systems. Collaborate with Core Engineering, Ads, Infrastructure, Content, and Data Science teams to scale 🎯 Requirements 7+ years of post-grad ML experience on web-scale data; 3+ years of people management. Track record delivering high-impact initiatives with data-driven influence. Experience mentoring software and ML engineers; strong communication skills. MS/PhD in CS, ML, NLP, Statistics, or related fields. Nice to have: publications at ML/RecSys conferences; experience with LLM/Agentic workflows. 🎁 Benefits Base salary range disclosed; equity eligible.
