📋 Description Support verification, validation, and uncertainty quantification for plant-scale thermal-hydraulic Perform system-level steady-state and transient simulations to evaluate model behavior and Analyze experimental data from separate-effects and integral test facilities to validate models. Define validation requirements and collaborate with test engineering to align experiments with Develop and maintain documentation for validation methodologies and uncertainty analyses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting design, safety analysis, and licensing. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Chemical Engineering or related, 6+ years’ experience Experience with system-level thermal-hydraulic analysis and code assessment for nuclear systems or Proven model validation experience including metric development and uncertainty quantification. Hands-on analysis of experimental thermal-hydraulic data and comparison with system predictions. Experience with RELAP5-3D, TRACE, SAS, or equivalent tools.
