📋 Description Lead design, integration, and qualification of fuel handling systems in advanced reactor projects. Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer, etc. Direct mechanical system design for thermal/fluid requirements. Apply ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA standards in designs. Provide guidance on nuclear/non-nuclear design practices. Support licensing and design reviews for plant systems. 🎯 Requirements Senior mechanical engineer with extensive complex systems design experience. 10+ years in mechanical systems design, especially nuclear fuel handling. Experience with nuclear reactors, fuel handling, or high-performance environments. Strong understanding of design principles, system integration, and equipment qualification. Experience with ASME Section III and quality standards (NQA-1, ISO 9001).
